AIRLINE OF THE MONTH
Fly boutique with Qingdao Airlines
With the launch of new direct flights to Sihanoukville, Qingdao Airlines now operates routes to dozens of cities across Asia
Chinese airline Qingdao may be just five years old, but it has already made a name for itself as one of the top 500 enterprises in China, rapidly expanding to begin servicing international destinations in October of last year. The carrier now has a fleet of 25 aircrafts, nearly 2,000 staff members, and services more than 25 cities across five countries.
Qingdao Airlines recently began operations in Cambodia, launching two flights between Sihanoukville and two Chinese cities. With new thrice weekly, year-round service to Zhanjiang and seasonal flights between Sihanoukville and Nanjing, travelers now have the opportunity to explore domestic destinations across China through the extensive Qingdao network.
"First of all, Qingdao Airlines values the special friendship between Cambodians and Chinese. We wish our new flights can bring a great importance to developing relations with Cambodia,” said Mr. Hou Hailin, the airline’s Vice President of Operations. “Secondly, we are very appreciative of the efforts and enthusiasm from the staff of Cambodia Airports who support our operation. We believe it is just the beginning of our collaboration.”
