TripAdvisor customers smile for Thai Smile Airways
For the past three years, Thai Smile Airways has won the TripAdvisor’s Best Airline in Thailand and Travelers’ Choice Regional Airline for Asia. This likely explains why the airline has been doing so well in Cambodia, too!
“It is our great honor and pleasure to receive such excellent awards presented by TripAdvisor,” said Charita Leelayudth, CEO of Thai Smile Airways Company Limited. She said the awards are a recognition of the team’s hard work and dedication and a reflection of the excellent service the airline provides for the money, adding, “The cleanliness of the cabin can substantially meet the needs of our customers.”
This subsidiary of Thai Airways first began operations in Cambodia in Siem Reap in 2016 and then started servicing Phnom Penh only a year later. They’ve maintained a strong performance in the Kingdom, carrying 326,170 passengers to Siem Reap and 222,460 to the capital between their first flights and September of this year.
The airline’s website is a testament to customer usability as it uniquely and easily lays out any destination a customer may want to go to from his or her starting city. They have also recently launched a blog on their website that features destinations, travel tips, and attractions that travelers may not know about.
Thai Smile has ten domestic destinations in Thailand as well as 21 international flights, all within Asia. So what is the airline planning for the future? “With our determination to be a favorite regional airline in Asia, we therefore continue to expand international routes and increase flight frequency to facilitate the passengers.” Sounds like a good strategy to win the 2020 award!
