Malindo Air takes off
Premium Malaysia-based carrier Malindo Air debuted in Cambodia on December 1, 2017 with daily flights between Kuala Lumpur and Phnom Penh.
By the end of May, it had carried more than 27,300 passengers between the two capitals.
The airline’s seamless customer service, customized in-flight wifi, young fleet of Boeing aircraft and expanding routes are among the features behind its rising appeal for business and leisure travelers alike.
Its inaugural flight to Phnom Penh marked the 16th country Malindo Air had expanded to since it was launched in 2013. Last year it was named the Asia Pacific Regional Airline of the Year by the CAPA Association for Aviation.
