Our sustainable growth is Cambodia’s success as we connect the Kingdom to opportunities
Cambodia Airports was honored to receive multiple awards for employability from the Employer Branding Institute, which held its annual awards ceremony in Singapore on July 31.
Double-digit tourism growth has been a staple in Cambodia for nearly a decade, promoted by the efforts of the Ministry of Tourism, the support of the private sector, and our own commitment to developing the Kingdom’s aviation industry. As we grow alongside the country, we also continue to welcome the launch of homegrown airlines, each of which serves as a symbol of Cambodian success.
Cambodia has long held high expectations for its tourism industry, and as connectivity to China has grown the country recently set its sights on welcoming 2 million Chinese tourists annually by 2020. Cambodia Airports is doing its part to realize this goal by welcoming ever-growing partnerships with Chinese airlines and flights to unique Chinese cities, which has helped the country see a record 25-fold increase in the number of Chinese travelers visiting the Kingdom over the past 15 years.
In our ability to encourage expanding travel routes into the Kingdom, Cambodia Airports is in a unique position to work toward making Cambodia the prime destination for travelers in the region--and we have long worked closely with the Ministry of Tourism to reach this shared goal. We look forward to strengthening our relationship with the ministry even further as we represent the Kingdom together at this year’s second annual Cambodia Travel Mart, an international event for tourism professionals that will be held in Phnom Penh this October.
At every step, we remain committed to improving the local economy and are continuously hiring new talents to keep pace with the rapid growth of our airport activities. We emphasize the importance of maintaining a healthy and encouraging work environment for all employees, and are therefore honored to have been recently recognized as a top employer in the region for the third year in a row by the Employer Branding Institute.
During the awards ceremony held last month, Cambodia Airports received accolades as we placed in two categories, including “Asia’s Best Employer Brand Award” and “Dream Companies to Work For”. Our efficient and enthusiastic workforce is the backbone of our success, and we are proud to provide our employees with premium working conditions that reflect their immense worth.
