Cause for celebration
At Cambodia Airports, this June has been packed with festive events, notable achievements for our airports and local airline partners, and new beginnings as multiple flights have launched — including our first direct route between Phnom Penh and Jakarta.
As all three of our airports continue to perform well, the past year has seen exceptionally considerable growth at our Sihanouk International Airport. Every month, new flights are launching and bringing more passengers to the seaside city of Sihanoukville; as a result, we are excited to announce that the airport has — for the first time — welcomed over 1 million passengers over the course of the past 11 months alone, from July 2018 through May 2019. We celebrate this milestone alongside the many airlines, local and international, who have aided us in achieving it, and embrace it as an encouraging reward not only for Cambodia Airports, but for Cambodia as a whole.
